Terms of Service

By ticking the box that says you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, creating an account, or using CareerFlowCV, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. By accepting, you confirm this. If you are using the service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

CareerFlowCV lets you upload or create a resume, have it parsed, score it against a job description (ATS and AI semantic scoring), get AI-assisted corrections and optimisation, and export the result as a PDF or LaTeX file. Features, limits and the AI providers we use may change over time. We may add, change or remove features, and we do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free.

• Sign in with Google, or with an email and password where available. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your sign-in details and any API keys you add secret. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
• One person may keep one account. Creating further accounts to collect free credits again is not allowed (see section 4).
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data. What is erased and what is kept for a short period is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Using AI features consumes credits from your wallet. A new account receives a starting amount of free credits, and the free plan is topped up on a schedule up to a cap. The amounts, caps, refill schedule and any paid plans are shown in the app and may change; a change does not take away credits you already hold.

• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
• If you delete your account and sign up again with the same email within 30 days, your previous credit balance is restored and no new free credits are given. After 30 days a new account receives the normal free credits.
• Paid plans, prices, taxes (including GST), billing and refunds: [to be set out once paid plans are live].

“Your content” means the resumes, job descriptions and other material you upload or create. It remains yours. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, process and display it, and to send the text to our AI providers, only as needed to provide the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that:

• you have the right to upload your content, and it does not infringe anyone's rights;
• the information in your resume is true. You are responsible for what you send to employers.

Uploaded and generated files are deleted automatically 30 days after you last use them. Download anything you want to keep. We do not use your resume to train AI models.

Scores, corrections and rewritten text are produced by automated systems and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for a given job. They are suggestions, not advice, and we do not guarantee any score, interview or job outcome, or that a resume will pass any employer's ATS. Review all output before you use it. You are responsible for how you use it.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful or to upload content you have no right to use;
• put in false or misleading information to deceive employers, or someone else's resume without their permission;
• upload malware, or try to disrupt, probe, overload or break the security of the service;
• access it by bots, scraping or automated means, or use the API except as we permit;
• reverse engineer the service, or resell or share access to it;
• claim free credits again through repeat accounts or other tricks;
• upload other people's personal data (other than what appears in the resume you are entitled to process) or any data about children.

The service, its software, design, templates, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. The resumes you generate are yours to use, but the templates and software behind them remain ours.

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. Your consent choices can be changed in Settings. Some features cannot run without consent to resume and AI processing.

The service depends on third parties such as Google sign-in, AI providers, and cloud storage. We are not responsible for their services or terms, but we choose them with care and only share what is needed.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonable, if you break these Terms, misuse the service or the law requires it. On termination your right to use the service ends, and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by nature should continue (for example 12 to 15) continue after termination.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service or results.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of job opportunity, income, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or [INR amount] if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer or Data Principal.

If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these Terms, you will reimburse us for the loss and reasonable costs that result, to the extent the law allows.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to settle a dispute informally. If that does not work, the courts at Bangalore, India have jurisdiction. [Add arbitration clause if the lawyer recommends it.]

We may update these Terms. The version and date above show the current text. For a material change we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. If you do not accept, you can delete your account.
